Andriy applied to Cambridge after a very diverse school experience. He studied in the private Ukrainian school, then the state Ukrainian school with focus on Mathematics and Physics and, finally, in the International Baccalaureate school in Kyiv.

Had he not met such great teachers as Dr. Tatiana Isakova, whose agreement to teach him IB Further Maths opened the only possibility of successfully applying to Cambridge, and Mr. Vitaliy Polonskiy, whose 11 lessons of Mathematics per week in the 8th grade became a decisive element in forming his ability to withstand high workload – his life would have been completely different now. There are many more people to thank, including Ms. Olga Busenko, Ms. Svetlana Shukina and Mr. Andriy Berezovskiy, and many-many more.

Andriy is now studying Engineering at King's College. In his spare time he enjoys developing applications for iPhone and iPad as well as reading financial and historical literature. Andriy also does rowing, currently competing for King's M1.
